Westwinds opened it doors back in 1997 ..Rita and Paddy Joyce relocated across the city to purpose build their dream guesthouse on the Salthill Promenade, over looking the spectacular Galway Bay opening in the height of the busy summer season in 1997.Rita and paddy proudly welcomed guests for next 15 years and had many wonderful and successful years until retiring in 2012! At this point Shauna their daughter and husband Mike took over the reigns of this very endearing business that is home to all who stay here …every season refurbishing and improving the house and guest rooms to keep comforts and standards high, they have brought their own flair to this wonderful property and continue to welcome guests and receive wonderful reviews and comments from their guests.
